The latest at LightDrinks

We're now in February! It's crazy how quick this year is going. For some people, Dry January has been completed, others have decided to pursue Dry February. Whatever your choice is, congratulations.

Here at LightDrinks, January was a very busy period! This was our first Dry January in business, and it couldn't have been any more successful.

Last December, we were approached by Real Kombucha to see if we were interested in selling their products on LightDrinks. It was a great opportunity to grow our range of products as at the time, we only sold beer, wine, spirits and a few sodas.

Kombucha

Since introducing Real Kombucha, we have seen a surge in sales. There is a huge demand for kombucha and Real Kombucha have mastered a unique taste. There are three kombuchas we sell from Real Kombucha: Dry Dragon, Royal Flush, and Smoke House - the most popular being Dry Dragon.

Sodas

As we continue to increase our range of drinks, we decided to leap into the soda market and introduce Square Root London Sodas. Currently, we sell five of their sodas, which include: Citrus Pale Shandy, Cola, Ginger Beer, Lemonade and Pear & Aronia. The sodas from Square Root London are all hand-made in Hackney, London and are bursting with flavour!

Not only do we sell Square Root London Sodas, we also sell Fentimans. Fentimans have a huge range of drinks, with eight available to buy at LightDrinks. Fentimans was the first soft drinks we introduced to our range - included in this range is Cherry Cola, Curiosity Cola, Dandelion & Burdock, Ginger Beer, Mandarin & Seville Orange Jigger, Rose Lemonade, Victorian Lemonade and English Elderflower. We've put together all these drinks in one mixed case.

The future

We have big plans for LightDrinks this year and years to come. The alternative drinks market is growing rapidly and we're proud to be at the forefront. We're listening to our customer's opinions and requests and looking to fulfill as many as possible.

Not only are we going to introduce new alcohol-free drinks, but we're also going to provide a platform for new and up and coming brands. The alcohol-free market is booming and we're excited to lead the way.

As we seek out more affordable ways to send drinks to our customers, we will also seek out ways to keep costs low. The beginning of 2018 started with low delivery costs. For example, delivery now starts from £3.49, as opposed to our original £5.9 charge. If you spend £50 or more, then delivery will be free.

We want to make drinking less alcohol as affordable as possible.
