It’s CHRISTMAS! It’s that time of the year to get into the loft and bash your head a few times on the beams as you fight your way through the boxes filled with decorations. But it’s all worth it as soon as you plaster each corner of the house with tinsel and lights.
With Christmas making itself known, we believe that it was only right to lower our shipping cost to £3.99 for this week! So take this opportunity up while it lasts and get those drinks ordered in time for the festive period!
To get this week’s Midweek Drink going, I shall be reviewing for you a new creation brewed by Nirvana Brewery Bavarian Helles Lager.
A brief history of Nirvana Brewery
The journey begins in 2007. Steve Dass, co-founder of Nirvana Brewery, began selling beer for a Belgian brewery, and noticed that there could be a possibility for the brewery to brew and sell alcohol-free beer, too. His idea was ignored, and so, Steve decided to go solo with his business partner and opened up Nirvana Brewery in east London.
Since the start of their journey, Nirvana Brewery has successfully produced seven types of beverages, including Bavarian Helles Lager.
Today, both Becky and Andrew are leading the way for a bright future for the brewery with a new look, increasing their range of thirst-quenching beverages and a great team of beer enthusiasts to go with it.
Three senses and a beverage
This lager pours a smooth, clear nectar colour with a frothy, white head that dissipates slowly, and minimal carbonation that keeps this lager very crisp and refreshing. When it comes to the taste, I’m suddenly hit with the soft sweetness from the barley malt that finishes off nicely with a very subtle bitterness. For the aroma, I get a whip of the barley malt that resembles the taste, beautifully.
