Right! Onwards with this week’s Midweek Drink. Today, I shall be reviewing an IPA brewed in Hamburg called Kehrwider Kreativbrauerei U.NN IPA Alkolholfrei.
The brainchild behind this comes from the founder, Oliver Wesseloh. With a background of brewery engineering, Oliver was able to venture out to various small breweries, gaining knowledge along the way. Eventually, he was able to establish his very own brewery in Sinstorf, Hamburg and has won many awards for, not just his alochol-alcohol-free IPA, but also for his other beers.
Three Senses and a Beverage
Kehrwider Kreativbrauerei U.NN IPA Alkolholfrei has an alcohol content of 0.4% and is bottled in a 330ml glass bottle.
It has a floral and malty aroma that spills out as soon as you crack the cap off the bottle. It has a dark amber colour, medium carbonation and a frothy, off-white head. It has a thin and light body, with a sweet, tropical taste at the beginning to then finishing off with a bitter, dry aftertaste.
